One of the many examples of graffiti-meets-social-justice found in Buenos Aires. I snapped this pic because I initially recognized Waldo (of ‘Where’s Waldo?’ fame) and thought the “se busca” was a simple translation of the challenge to find Waldo among throngs of his friends. Well kids, let’s not forget about historical context. Placed within that of Argentina’s Dirty War and “Los Desaparecidos”, the ‘Where’s Waldo?’ image takes on appropriate, albeit chilling, connotations – the [translated] message declaring “looking for, wanted”…
